Brilliant Orange Trees

A lot of the trees in Nashua, New Hampshire have faded now. The other night, we had quite a windstorm that knocked 75% of the leaves to the ground as well.

This tree, however, is right outside of my apartment building. It seems to have hit it’s most brilliant hue today, for some reason…

The color is so bright that it is almost too intense to look at.

The Most Intense Color Yet

These photos were taken on Sunday, October 21st (mostly) in Mines Falls Park in Nashua, NH.

I believe some of these pictures to be the prettiest ones yet… starting with this stunner:

You may wonder if this photo is color-altered.  I can tell you right now that no, it isn’t!  Sunday morning was one of those famously beautiful and clear fall days in New England… which is why so many of these photos are so gorgeous.

I mean seriously… can anyone tell me that New Hampshire in the fall isn’t the most beautiful place, EVER?  I cannot believe how breathtaking this is.  And it’s literally no more than 2 or so miles from where I live!

Here are the rest of Sunday’s pictures… sit back, relax and enjoy.

The Colors Are Getting Intense!

Every day for the past week (except for the day it rained), I have been out getting fall foliage pictures.  I’m simply addicted.

New Hampshire in the is fall truly, truly the most beautiful place on earth.

Anyway, here are pictures from two days after the last set, taken on Saturday of this past weekend (October 22nd).  I took two sets that day, and here is the first set.  Please ignore the power lines and buildings in the photos… remember that I am NOT a professional photographer!  :-)

Lots of color is to be found here!

Do you like… yellow?

Or how about orange?

The multi-colored trees are some of my favorites:

And somehow, I got a picture of this little guy.  He was so sweet to pose for me:

(It’s a bit blurry because I was hurrying to snap the picture before he scampered off!)

More pictures to come a bit later…

Before The Foliage

Here are several photos taken in Nashua, New Hampshire, the second week of October 2007. Some of these photos show very little to no foliage change; some of them (like the first one below) show a stunning change already.

Enjoy!
