These pictures were taken on Monday, December 10th, 2007 around 4pm by Rian Montgomery. All of these pictures were taken in the downtown area of Tulsa, OK, specifically near Carson, Denver and 17th Street (by University Club apartments). Some of the pics are a little dark, but that's because it was still very cloudy and raining a little. But the damage from this ice storm is really bad.. trees are down everywhere, power lines down (I see two from here). Some of the pictures from higher up were taken from my balcony, which is on the 9th floor, facing North and Northwest. They are saying the power is out now to over 400,000 people in Tulsa. Well, looking out over the city from my balcony now that it's dark, a lot of places are black. I am very blessed to have the power on in this building, although it has flickered many times today. The building's cable is totaly out - TV, internet, phone. I'm using my laptop to upload these and a Sprint aircard internet connection.
